CHALK UP APP / 2016 / The Chalk Up app I designed is a means to track distance walked and/or biked, but more so it’s a means to bring a social aspect to what often can be a solo event. Being able to post messages that others can see on their walks, leaving easter eggs along the way, and gaining bonus points that allow you to “purchase” colors, fonts, etc is all an attempt to gamify and incentivize exercise.
